Rooted in Chardon since 1948.
In 1948, Pilgrim Christian Church was formed through the union of the Chardon Congregational Church and the Chardon Christian Church.
In 1950, the congregation voted to adopt the name “Pilgrim.” Since then, we’ve grown into a dynamic, inclusive church with dual affiliation
in the United Church of Christ and the Disciples of Christ.
Our ministries flourished in the 50s, 60s, and 70s with strong fellowship programs, youth camps, and pancake breakfasts.
In 1982, our Memorial Parlor was added, and today we continue to serve the Chardon community through outreach, worship, and a commitment
to love and justice.
